We are donating 100% of proceeds from item sales and contributor funds to the 612 Humanitarian Relief Fund.

What is the 612 Humanitarian Relief Fund?

The 612 Humanitarian relief fund is a Hong Kong based support fund that "provide(s) humanitarian support and related monetary assistance to all persons injured, arrested, violently attacked or threatened in the anti-transmission movement, including but not limited to the 612 day movement." It currently focuses on “services in four areas: legal, medical, emotional and emergency financial support”. You can learn more about their cause and work on their website which will be linked below.

The organization is named after the June 12th 2019 (6/12) incident in Hong Kong. On June 12th an intense confrontation between anti-extradition bill protesters and the Hong Kong Police occurred outside the Government Headquarters in Admiralty, Hong Kong Island. Why did we chose the 612 Humanitarian Relief Fund?

We chose to donate proceeds to the 612 Humanitarian fund because of its dependency, transparency, and holistic approach towards aid for the movement. The fund has currently “provided direct support to approximately 2,139 cases and as of December 15, the fund has provided assistance to 411 defendants (including those who have returned), 1,289 arrested persons, 382 injured persons, and 57 other related persons.”. The fund also publishes a semi-annual half year report that details its yearly service and financial summary (located on their website). The multi-aspect approach of the 612 Support Fund allows for many different problems faced by the protesters to be addressed-something we, 4reehonkong, believe to be critical in supporting the fight.
